This 4-week intensive course is held 5 hours daily and 5 days a week.

100-Hour Sanskrit, Philosophy, and Chanting Immersion offers a rare opportunity to dive deep into the traditions of Yoga Philosophy, Sanskrit language and Sanskrit chanting with authentic teachers, traditions, and techniques.

Our students will:

Begin to integrate Yoga Sutra and Bhagavad Gita teaching into daily life, classes and workshops.
Learn Sanskrit in an authentic and resonant method that itself is a traditional and transformational yoga practice.
Learn shaantimantras, traditional songs and verses, and begin to memorize and understand the Yoga Sutras and The Bhagavad Gita.
Easily read, write, and recite the Devanagari script to expand their studies and knowledge.

More Details

  1. Learn and practice Sanskrit chanting, in the ‘Srutiparamparaa’ way, call and response method, a traditional and effective method for pronunciation, memorization, and enhanced study of Sanskrit language and texts.
  2. Learn and practice Reading, Writing and Pronunciation of Devanagari script and Sanskrit. This includes introductory level grammar and translation (as pertains to the material we are studying – Sutras, Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12, and introductory chants)
  3. Yoga Sutras of Patanjali – Chanting, study, meaning and discussion of Chapters 1 and 2
  4. Bhagavad Gita - Chanting, study, discussion of Chapter 12 –Bhakti Yoga
  5. Learn the traditional daily chants, strotras/songs, slokas/verses, and mantras.

The course is non-transferable
Participants must be 21yrs. or older.

Students will be provided with digital study materials both audio and text files.
Students are responsible to print own materials or use tablet or laptop for materials.

This program does not include airfare, air transfers, local transportation, housing or food.
There is no asana offered in this program.
Classes are not held on Saturdays and Sundays.
Students will have the opportunity to explore Mysore and its surrounding areas of famous temples, villages and culture.
There will be homework; students are required to study outside of class time. (Homework will include memorization, reviewing lessons, and practicing Devanagari script)

Certificate of Completion will be offered based on attendance as well as completion of assignments.
Thursday March 21st 2019 - We celebrate all students with a “graduation” ceremony with certificate presentation.
